Copyright
Be aware of copyright laws and reference your work correctly. For further information on copyright laws read the following:
A person who creates an original literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work is the prime owner of intellectual property. Copyright is the legal right of the author or owner of intellectual property to control the copying of that work. A copyright owner has the exclusive right to: copy, adapt, publicly perform, display or distribute the work to the public by any means and to authorize others to do the same either by licensing certain agreed rights or by the transfer (assignment) of ownership. Copyright is infringed by a person who, without the licence of the copyright owner, does or authorizes others to do any of the acts restricted by copyright. Fair Dealing for the purpose of (non commercial*) research, private study, criticism or review, reporting of current events or for instruction or examination does not infringe any copyright in the work provided that it is accompanied by sufficient acknowledgement. (II, 29:36). (This concept is dealt with under US law as Fair Use).
The author of the work has the right to be defined as the author and be acknowledged and adequately referenced as such.
